Sylvie said she was happy to see the Falun Dafa booth, and wrote down practitioners’ contact information so she could join their group exercises. After seeing the information about the upcoming Shen Yun shows, she said that she’d like to buy tickets to see it.

Christine Monfort was also very interested in Falun Dafa and traditional Chinese culture. She bought a copy of the book Zhuan Falun.

Nine-year-old Leila was excited about learning to meditate. She brought her friend and they both learned the fifth Falun Dafa exercise, the meditation. She returned several times to learn the first four exercises. She spend the entire time she was there with Falun Dafa practitioners, until her mother had to leave, but she promised to take Leila to the Falun Dafa group exercises.

Laureen from Drôme previously heard about Falun Dafa and did the exercises. She came to the Falun Dafa booth to learn more. She said the energy at the booth was so calm and relaxing that she didn’t want to leave. She took an introductory brochure and practitioners’ contact information and said she would tell her friends and coworkers about Falun Dafa.

Christine, another local resident, said one of her employees recommended Falun Dafa to her. She bought a copy of Zhuan Falun and wanted to learn the exercises. After hearing about the persecution in China, Christine said, “It’s terrible! I’m not surprised though. The Chinese Communist Party could do anything.”

One senior resident initially said she wasn’t interested in anything related to China, but after hearing about the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Dafa, she said that the Chinese government’s crimes were outrageous, and expressed her sympathy for practitioners who were persecuted.
