8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Zhenguang and Others Harassed
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Zhu Liqiang Detained
1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Sifeng Tried
Mr. Zhang Sifeng’s case was submitted to the court in October 2024. He was scheduled to stand trial on November 12, 2024.
2. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Yanqiu Faces Indictment
Ms. Chen Yanqiu fromo the Gaoxin District was arrested on July 12, 2024. Her family learned on November 4 that her case had been submitted to the Shuangqiao District Procuratorate.
3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Fengqi Detained
Ms. Song Fengqin from the Liushan area in the Xinfu District was arrested on October 23, 2024, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days.
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Han Yun Detained
Ms. Han Yun fromo the Xinchengzi District was arrested and detained in mid-October 2024. She was released on November 7, 2024.
5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fan Yuelan Arrested
Ms. Fan Yuelan, 80, from the Licheng District was arrested at home by Baoshan Police Station officers in August 2024 for distributing Falun Gong flyers in her neighborhood. They ransacked her home, seized her Falun Gong books, and interrogated her in the police station. She refused to sign any police report and was released the same day.
6. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Ying and Her Daughter Arrested
Ms. Liu Ying and her daughter were arrested at home on October 24, 2024. Over ten 857 Farm Police Station officers broke in by scaling their fence and banging on their door. The police took them to the police station for questioning and released them the same day.
7. [Shanghai] Ms. You Xiuyun Under Surveillance
Ms. You Xiuyun from the Xuhui District has been under 24-hour surveillance since November 1, 2024, because Shanghai is hosting the China International Import Expo.
8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Zhenguang and Others Harassed
Mr. Zhang Zhenguang, Ms. Pang Wenxia, and several other practitioners were harassed at home on November 6, 2024, by officers from Yongqing County’s Yangmazhuang Police Station. Practitioner Fan Demin’s family was harassed by county police station officers and Chenguan Township clerks and questioned about Fan’s whereabouts.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Zhu Liqiang Detained
Zhu Liqiang from the Tiexi District, gender unknown, was arrested on October 18, 2024. Zhu was first held for 24 hours in a police station and then detained for eight days in the Shenyang City First Detention Center.
