(Minghui.org) Practitioners peacefully protested the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong in front of the Chinese Embassy in Brussels on December 10, 2024, Human Rights Day. Despite the cold weather, they stood outside holding up banners exposing the persecution. During the 25 years of the CCP’s persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have persisted in raising awareness and protesting the persecution.
Falun Gong practitioners protested in front of the Chinese Embassy in Brussels on December 10, 2024.
Falun Gong practitioner Wilfried, the organizer of the event, said, “Today we are holding a peaceful demonstration outside the Chinese Embassy in Brussels to call on the CCP to end its 25-year persecution. Falun Gong practitioners have suffered so much in China, and even had their organs harvested while they were still alive. The CCP has never respected human rights and openly tramples on human rights.”
Practitioner Wilfried hopes more people learn about Falun Gong.
He concluded by saying, “As Falun Gong practitioners, we uphold the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and therefore we always adhere to peaceful and rational means in our activities to oppose the persecution. I firmly believe that with our unremitting efforts, more people in the world will understand Falun Gong and oppose the CCP’s persecution.”
Irene Gosset (right) said she admires practitioners’ courage.
Irene Gosset walked by the activity and talked with a Falun Gong practitioner. She said she admired them for meditating so peacefully in the severe cold. She said practitioners were brave. She lives nearby and said she often sees their activities, so she already knew about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance resonated with her. She said, “The world needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The tragic experiences of Falun Gong practitioners in China are appalling.”
