1. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Fengxian Detained
2. [Beijing] Hong Yu Sentenced
3. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Deng Guojun Admitted to Prison
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiujie Detained
5. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Ou Xuehui and Ms. Yao Zuming Face Indictment
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zang Hongyan Released from Prison
7. [Huili City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sheng Chaozhu Arrested
1. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Fengxian Detained
Ms. Gao Fengxian was arrested at home by Gaobeidian Police Department officers on September 12, 2024. The officers ransacked her home and put her in a detention center.
2. [Beijing] Hong Yu Sentenced
Hong Yu, gender unknown, was arrested in 2022 by officers Wang Xin and Li Xuchen from the Tongzhou District Zhangwan Police Station. Hong Yu was later indicted by prosecutor Zhang Xueli of the Tongzhou District Procuratorate, and sentenced to 18 months in prison by judge Zhao Zhiyi of the Tongzhou District Court.
3. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Deng Guojun Admitted to Prison
Ms. Deng Guojun was admitted to the Sixth Division of Sichuan Province Women’s Prison in Chengdu City on May 23, 2024, to serve a one-year term.
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiujie Detained
Ms. Wang Xiujie, 51, was arrested at her community gate by officers from the Tawan Police Station and Huanggu District Political Security Division after 5 p.m. on September 6, 2024. They seized her Falun Gong posters and copies of Minghui Weekly from her home. They claimed she was recorded by surveillance cameras in July 2022 while distributing Falun Gong informational materials. Ms. Wang is currently held in the Shenyang City First Detention Center.
5. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Ou Xuehui and Ms. Yao Zuming Face Indictment
Ms. Ou Xuehui and Ms. Yao Zuming’s cases were transferred from the Jinning Procuratorate to the Xishan District Procuratorate. They are now facing indictment by the latter.
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zang Hongyan Released from Prison
Ms. Zang Hongyan was released from the Jilin Province Women’s Prison on September 16, 2024, after serving a two-year term.
7. [Huili City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sheng Chaozhu Arrested
Ms. Sheng Chaozhu was surrounded by seven plainclothes officers when she was working in her vegetable garden on June 29, 2024. A female officer searched her and seized her key. They entered her home with the key, ransacked the place, and confiscated Ms. Sheng’s Falun Gong books and other items. They questioned her about where she got the books, who was the local coordinator, where they met, and other information about local practitioners. Ms. Sheng was first taken to the police department, and then to the Huili People’s Hospital for a physical exam, including a blood test and urine test. She was released around 5:30 p.m. that day.
