(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Houston, Texas, gathered in Hermann Park on January 19, 2025, to wish Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, a happy New Year and express their gratitude. The waist drum team performed in celebration of Chinese New Year on January 29.

Trisha said she was given a Falun Dafa flyer while riding a subway on a trip to Korea with her husband. She was surprised but pleased. After she returned to the U.S., Trisha watched Falun Dafa videos online and was moved to tears. She read the book Zhuan Falun, learned the exercises, and started practicing. She read the book and did the exercises every day. This was during the pandemic and she was pregnant, but after her baby was born, she recovered quickly and didn’t feel tired despite the sleepless nights. Trisha said she experienced the amazing power of Falun Dafa. More importantly, she said she learned how to be a good person and how to guide her child.
“Falun Dafa brought peace to my heart and gave me strength to overcome any difficulty. I wish I’d learned these principles earlier! I also want to bring up my child as a person with these great values,” Trisha said. “I found the most precious thing that I’ve been looking for. I’m the most fortunate and happy person in the world!”
Liliana, a music teacher, heard about Falun Dafa when she attended a Shen Yun performance. After reading Zhuan Falun, she found answers to her questions about life and decided to practice Falun Dafa.
“I could feel powerful energy from the beginning. Amazing things happened in my body. I feel the energy every time I do the Falun Dafa exercises. As I continued to read Zhuan Falun and put the principles into practice, I experienced overwhelming peace and the vastness of life,” Liliana said.
Liliana thanks Master for his guidance.
Liliana said she and her family had many positive experiences after she began practicing. “My daughter’s immigration application was approved. After leaving my last job, I found a new job that paid well. I moved into spacious, modern housing. I have no doubt that all these things were due to the power of Dafa.”
Liliana treasures the opportunity to be a practitioner and cultivate. She said, “Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance taught me a lot. I now understand others better. I’m deeply grateful for Master! His wisdom has guided my life to a new direction!”
