(Minghui.org) I have practiced Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) since 1994. I know in my heart that, as a Dafa practitioner, I have a mission to fulfill, so I always regard clarifying the facts about Dafa to people as part of my daily life. I would like to share a few of my experiences.
Clarifying the Truth to My Daughter’s Classmate
One day, my daughter’s former classmate Dandan came for a visit. I asked her, “Dandan, I heard you have joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Is that true?”
“Well, the company Party secretary has talked to me about it, because I’m the only one in the office who is not a member. He wanted me to join as a probationary member.” My first thought was that I had to tell Dandan to consider not joining, so, I started telling her about the CCP-staged self-immolation on Tiananmen Square.
Then I said, “Think about it. After the young girl was severely burned, she was tightly wrapped up, contrary to how people with such burns are normally treated. Moreover, her trachea had also been cut open, so she shouldn’t have been able to speak. But when reporters interviewed her, she suddenly started talking and even sang them a song. Don’t you think that this was all staged?” Dandan agreed.
I went on to tell her, “Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. The CCP is wicked and persecutes innocent people. Take me for example. Simply because I practice Falun Gong, I was fired from my job in public service, sent to a forced labor facility, and suffered severe financial persecution. Countless good people like me across China have been unjustly persecuted. You and my daughter went to school together, so I’m telling you all this for your own sake.”
Just then, my daughter came in and said, “Just quit all those CCP organizations and then everything will be fine.”
Dandan agreed and quit all of the CCP youth organizations that she had joined in the past. Then she and my daughter went out together.
Clarifying the Facts About Dafa to the Police
To further harass practitioners, the Ministry of Public Security orchestrated a national “Door-Knocking” campaign at one point. Another practitioner warned me about it, so I decided that, if they came, I would not open the door. Then I sat down and started sending righteous thoughts.
Not long after, I heard someone knocking on the door and saw a policeman sticking his head in. I was shocked and wondered how he had opened the door. As it turned out, when my wife came home earlier, she didn’t close the door completely. I quickly got up, rushed to the door, and asked, “What do you want?” One of them answered, “We’re community police officers.”
A young officer piped up, “The previous community officer has been reassigned, and I’ll be taking over.”
I had no fear and remembered what our teacher Master Li Hongzhi taught us, thinking it would be a good opportunity to tell the officers the facts about Falun Dafa. But as soon as I started to speak, the young officer held up his phone to take photos of me.
“You’d better stop that,” I said. “It’s fate that we met today. Right now, international organizations are collecting evidence of the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.” The young officer looked startled and put down his phone.
“We Dafa practitioners are all good people,” I went on. “You should know that even though certain policies are passed down from above, there are countermeasures you can take.” I noticed that the young officer was still wary, so I turned to the older officer and asked him what his family name was. He told me, and I noticed a CCP badge on his chest.
“I see that you’re a Party member. For your own safety it would be best to quit it.” I then offered him a pseudonym to use to quit the CCP and also suggested one for the young officer as well. He sincerely agreed.
I was very happy for them. Then we talked about the corruption within the CCP, and I told them, “Everyone should take responsibility for what one does and bear the consequences.” I mentioned the corruption case of Tang Yijun, a minister of Justice, who was suspended for an ongoing investigation.
“Even though people like him are charged with corruption on the surface, the underlying reason is their participation in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Anyone who has committed evil deeds must bear responsibility and face consequences.”
They nodded in agreement. I asked them to leave their phone numbers before they left, and they both did. I told them, “It’s really fate that we met today. Take care and be safe!” They smiled and left in good spirits.
Later, a few neighbors saw me and asked, “Did the police go to your house?”
“Yes, they did,” I replied with a smile. “They came to quit the CCP organizations.”
Helping People Quit the CCP at a Funeral
In January this year, an elderly man in my neighbor’s family passed away. I went over to visit and learned that he would be cremated in two days. That day, I got up very early and went over to help out. The man’s oldest son told me that the hearse was on its way.
Both the son and the daughter work out of town, and I had already helped them quit the CCP organizations in the past, but I hadn’t been able to help their other relatives do that. The hearse arrived, and the son asked me to ride with his father’s granddaughter. She was very young, in her 30s, and we hadn’t met before. I greeted her and asked her name. She was very pleasant.
“Drive carefully. It’s very important to keep safe. Life is precious,” I said before asking, “Are you a Party member?”
She replied that she was and that she worked in finance at a large state-owned enterprise.
I explained to her why people need to quit the CCP organizations: “People in many countries around the world believe in gods and Buddhas. Only the communist party promotes atheism. It persecutes Falun Gong and staged the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square to deceive people and incite them to hate its practitioners.
“For example, the young girl was badly burned and her trachea was cut. Medically speaking, she would have been unable to speak. But when reporters came, she started talking and even sang a song. Wasn’t the whole thing staged? The Party deceives people and stops at nothing. We must not fall for it.”
The granddaughter listened carefully and said, “Oh, so that’s what happened! I wouldn’t have had a clue if you hadn’t told me.”
I then encouraged her, “You’d better quit the Party.”
“Okay,” she said and gave me her real name. There were three others in the car and they also quit the CCP organizations.
At the funeral home, over ten of the deceased’s relatives from out of town came to pay their final respects. I encouraged off of them to quit the CCP organizations.
By the time the ceremony began, all 14 of the deceased man’s relatives had quit the CCP. At the end of the ceremony, his daughter saw me to the gate and thanked me for my kindness.
On my way home, I thought of our compassionate Master and the great Buddha Fa, with tears streaming down my face. I only needed to have the wish to assist Master Li in saving sentient beings, and Master arranged everything to fulfill my wish. Thank you, Master!
