1. [Zigong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hu Zeqing Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Hu Zeqiang from Lianhua Town was sentenced to one and a half years in prison on September 29, 2025.
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lai Buyun’s Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Lai Buyun, 50, from the Fushan District was reported to the police on September 30, 2025, for using paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them to purchase merchandise. She was arrested and her whereabouts remain unknown.
3. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Meng Zhaofu Arrested
Mr. Meng Zhaofu, in his 70s, was recorded posting Falun Gong materials by surveillance cameras on the morning of October 2, 2025. Qingdao Road Police Station officers arrested him at home that day and confiscated his Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a printer, and a computer.
4. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yongshan and His Wife Ms. Zhang Zhongmin Arrested
Mr. Wang Yongshan and his wife Ms. Zhang Zhongmin were arrested on September 30, 2025 at their daughter’s home in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Liqin Arrested
Ms. Zhang Liqin, in her 70s, was arrested on September 16, 2025, while visiting an elderly couple in their 70s. She is being held in Shenyang City First Detention Center. The status of the couple is unknown.
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Chengqin and Ms. Wang Lian Arrested
Ms. Zhang Chengqin and Ms. Wang Lian from Zhonggong Town were arrested on the morning of September 28, 2025, by officers from Zhonggong Town Police Station and the Southern Mountain Area Management Committee’s Law Enforcement Division. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Zhang is currently held in Jinan City Detention Center. Ms. Wang is likely in the Jinan City Lockup.
7. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Yaping and Mr. Kong Arrested
Ms. Song Yaping was arrested on September 11, 2025, by Tian’an Police Station officers for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was held for five days of administrative detention and released.
Mr. Kong, about 60, was arrested on September 18, 2025, and detained for 10 days. He was released on September 28.
8. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chen Hong Remains in Custody
Ms. Chen Hong and another practitioner surnamed Sun were arrested on the morning of September 25, 2025, by local community personnel and police officers. Sun was released that day. Ms. Chen remains in custody.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Qu Dongju Harassed
Ms. Qu Dongju from Wuhan City was working in Songzi City in the same province caring for a paralyzed elderly person. The police in Guangshui City, where her father lives, have been harassing her since late 2024. They also collaborated with the residential personnel in Songzi City to harass her every three months.
10. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Dexiang Arrested; Ms. Guo Hongju Harassed
Ms. Guo Hongju was harassed at home by Shahe Town Police Station officers on September 25, 2025. Ms. Wang Dexiang, another practitioner who happened to be there, was arrested and taken to the police station. The police also ransacked Ms. Wang’s home and confiscated her Falun Gong books. She was released later that day.
11. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Elderly Ms. Leng Arrested
Ms. Leng, nearly 80, was arrested at home by eight officers from Wafangdian City Police Department and the Fude Police Station on the morning of September 26, 2025. She was taken to the police station. The officers said that surveillance cameras videotaped her distributing Falun Gong pamphlets in a residential building. They ordered her to fingerprint and sign her case documents. Before releasing her, they threatened to sentence her to prison if she was arrested again for distributing Falun Gong materials.
12. [Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Xinfeng Missing for Two Years
Ms. Li Xinfeng has been missing for nearly two years.
13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Liufeng Arrested
Ms. Wang Liufeng was arrested at noon on September 25, 2025, by officers from Binhe Police Station. They told her family that they had been following her for a long time before arresting her. She was taken to the Shenyang City First Detention Center.
14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Gu Fubao Held in Custody
Mr. Gu Fubao was arrested on July 15, 2025, for distributing Falun Gong materials. He was transferred from the Nangang District Detention Center to the Daoli District Police Department Detention Center on September 12, 2025.
15. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yinfeng’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Liu Yinfeng was previously sentenced to seven years in prison and released in May 2025.
Three Hongqi Town Police Station officers broke into her home on the afternoon of September 25. They ransacked the place and started grabbing Falun Gong books. Ms. Liu snatched the books back and held them in her arms. One officer pushed her down on the bed, while the other two rummaged through every box, cabinet, and storage room, taking away the remaining Falun Gong books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong.
