(Minghui.org) During President Trump’s visit to Japan this week Falun Dafa practitioners held a two-day event in front of the National Diet Building in Nagatacho, Tokyo on October 28, 2025. They called for an end to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

Practitioners displayed banners worded “Falun Dafa is Good,” “Stop the CCP’s Forced Organ Harvesting,” and “Thank the U.S. House of Representatives for Passing the Falun Gong Protection Act, Call on Japan and Other Countries to Follow.”

Practitioners talked to passersby about the CCP’s 26-year brutal persecution of Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) in China, including the state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. They also called on the Japanese government to enact legislation to protect practitioners’ human rights, similar to the U.S. government, to jointly end the persecution. After they learned about the issue, many people expressed their indignation at the CCP’s persecution and said they supported and encouraged practitioners.

People Support Falun Dafa and Condemn the Persecution

Chinese ink painter Uchū-kan strongly condemned the CCP, saying, “The persecution of Falun Dafa should stop immediately.” He pointed out that the systemic human rights abuses that have gone on for 26 years deserve the serious attention of all democratic countries, and expressed his hope that Japan and the United States would strengthen cooperation to promote implementing the Falun Gong Protection Act.

Mr. Kawasaki, who was visiting the Senate, expressed his support for practitioners, and said, “Please don’t be afraid of the pressure, keep going!”

Mr. Kohara, who was in Nagatacho for work, also encouraged practitioners, saying, “You are doing the right thing. Please keep up the good work.”

Mr. Kamei, who came to Nagatacho to raise issues with members of parliament, was shocked to learn of the CCP’s atrocities against Falun Gong, “I’ve always had a bad impression of China, but I never imagined they would do such heinous things.” He added, “A country that doesn’t value human rights will not have the support of its people and will eventually collapse. It’s truly regrettable that a country that uses its power to suppress its people out of discontent still exists in the 21st century.” He said he supported practitioners.

Mr. Yamada, who came to Nagata-cho to talk to members of parliament, said, “This [persecution] is not allowed anywhere in the world.” He said the persecution of Falun Gong is contrary to human rights and is absolutely evil.

A man from China said that living under the rule of the CCP in China, “Is like a gangster society.” He pointed out, “The CCP doesn’t let people live a good life; it only controls them, and ordinary people suffer greatly.” He also asked, “Are people able to freely practice Falun Gong in Japan?” After being told that there is freedom of belief in other countries, he said, “I met Falun Gong practitioners when I went to Hong Kong.”

Mr. Xuan, also from China, said, “The CCP is terrifying.” He expressed his fear of being violently suppressed by the CCP for his personal freedom of belief.

Steven supports Falun Gong.

When he learned of the persecution of Falun Gong, Steven from the U.K. exclaimed, “That’s terrible. Yes, it’s really terrible.” He affirmed and supported Falun Gong’s values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and said, “That’s wonderful. I agree.”
