(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Mei Guangqin Sentenced to Prison

12. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Dexin Loses Appeals Against a Nine-Year Prison Sentence
1. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Mei Guangqin Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Mei Guangqin was arrested by officers from the Harbin City Police Department and the Mulan County Domestic Security Division on April 2, 2025. She was taken to Harbin City, about 90 miles from Mulan County, for detention. The Yilan County Court in Harbin sentenced her to 3.5 years on October 29, 2025.
2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yu Jie Arrested
Ms. Yu Jie had been harassed by phone calls from the Baojian Road Police Station and Yinglunmingdi Community for more than two months. Police officers staked out her home on October 16, 2025, and arrested her. She was detained for 10 days, and the police continued to harass her over the phone after she was released.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Yumei Monitored and Harassed
Ms. Guo Yumei and her family have been monitored by the community management since 2002. Sometimes they were followed when they went out for grocery shopping and had their shopping bags searched.
4. [Yingshan County, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Li Arrested
Ms. Wang Li, in her 60s, was arrested at home by a large number of officers from Suizhou City and Yingshan County on October 27, 2025. They broke in and confiscated her Falun Gong books, over 1,000 yuan paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them, a cell phone, and other items. They then took Ms. Wang to Suizhou City for detention.
5. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Five Practitioners Face Indictment
Ms. Liu Chunqin, Yi Dijun, Mr. Li Qingjun, and Zheng Qiong have been held in Zhuzhou City Detention Center since their arrests in July 2025. Ms. Liu Rongpei was placed on residential surveillance. The five of them are now facing indictment after the police submitted their cases to the Lusong District Procuratorate.
6. [Wugong County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Wang Pingchuang and His Wife Ms. Zhao Xijuan Struggle with Medical Conditions in Prison
Mr. Wang Pingchuang, 50, is serving a nine-year term in Weinan Prison. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and has difficulty moving. He is receiving treatment at the Aerospace Base Hospital.
Mr. Wang’s wife, Ms. Zhao Xijuan, is serving seven years at the Shaanxi Province Women’s Prison. She developed liver problems in Xi’an City Detention Center, and it’s not clear whether the condition persists in the prison.
7. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed
Ms. Qu Shumin, Zhao Xunhua, and another practitioner were harassed at their respective homes by officers from Yongyang Town Police Station on November 4, 2025. The officers took photos of them without their permission.
8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Qiuhua and Ms. Jiang Yuhua Harassed
Ms. Jiang Yuhua, in her late 70s, and Ms. Zhang Qiuhua, also in her 70s, received calls from community management personnel on November 3, 2025, and were ordered to go to their office the next day. As the practitioners didn’t go, the personnel called their sons.
Ms. Jiang, her son, and Ms. Zhang’s son went to the community office on November 5. Officers from Xinjin District Political and Legal Affairs Committee and Wujin Police Station, along with community management personnel, said that Ms. Jiang and Ms. Zhang were recorded on surveillance cameras posting Falun Gong materials. They ordered Ms. Jiang not to do it in the future.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Xiaoling Held in Custody
Ms. He Xiaoling was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong on September 19, 2025. Officers from the Qiaokou District Police Department went to her home on October 16 to arrest her. She was not at home.
Officers from Hanjiadun Police Station arrested Ms. He in Gongan County in the same province on November 11. They interrogated her there for a day and took her back to Wuhan City on November 12. Ms. He’s family learned on November 17 that she had been admitted to Wuhan City Second Lockup.
10. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Guixia Arrested
Ms. Xu Guixia was arrested at home by four unidentified individuals on November 6, 2025. She was held in Qinglong County Lockup.
11. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zang Yongde Arrested
Mr. Zang Yongde, 80, was arrested by Zhenzhu Road Police Station officers on November 2, 2025. He is being held in Dandong City Detention Center.
12. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Dexin Loses Appeals Against a Nine-Year Prison Sentence
Mr. Jiang Dexin was arrested on October 26, 2024, by the police from Chengde City, Hebei Province. He was sentenced to nine years and fined 20,000 yuan by the Shuangqiao District Court in Chengde in July 2025. He appealed to the Chengde City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold his original verdict. He was transferred from the Chengde City Detention Center to the First Division at the Hebei Provincial Prison Administration Bureau Fourth Prison on November 3, 2025.
