(Minghui.org) A screening of the documentary State Organs was held at Doylestown Borough Hall in Pennsylvania, on January 29, 2025. Approximately 50 people watched the 76-minute-long award-winning documentary. Most said they were deeply shocked and expressed their willingness to help stop the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 25-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners, including the CCP’s crime of forced organ harvesting.

The CCP’s Crimes Are Shocking

After watching the documentary, pilot Chris Davies said, “I feel crushed. I couldn’t be any more sad or horrified—this is something I didn’t know.”

Davies said he was well aware of the brutal nature of the CCP, but was shocked by the organ harvesting, “The CCP not only decided to exterminate these innocent people, they’re harvesting their organs for profit. It’s the devil’s work. These people [referring to those involved in organ harvesting] are demons.”

He said, “Evil is running that country and keeping everyone under its boot and terrorizing and harvesting their organs and locking up people’s children for no reason whatsoever.”

Davies said the world must take action to end the communist regime and said, “If the world were to embargo any products made in China it might quickly bring enough pressure on the Communist Party. This can make some changes happen.”

He said he heard many years ago that if someone needed an organ quickly they should go to China. “You don’t have to wait two years for a liver transplant, you can go directly to China and get one in two weeks.” After watching the documentary, he sighed and said he now understood that all this is true and is still happening today.

He denounced Western countries for continuing to do business with the CCP, and said it was abominable, “Look at these monsters of the CCP, they are actually harvesting human organs!”

According to the Falun Dafa Information website (Faluninfo.net), China’s organ transplant hospitals claim that they can find matching organs in just a few weeks or even days, while in other countries, this process usually takes years. In the United States, for example, the average wait time for a kidney or liver transplant is about two or three years.

This indicates that there is a huge pool of living organ donors in China, which are available for organ harvesting at any time to meet the demand for transplantation on demand. This phenomenon has aroused serious concern in the international community about forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience.

Lawyer: Forced Organ Harvesting Is a Crime Against Humanity and Must Be Stopped Immediately

Davis’ wife, lawyer Mariann Davis, could not hide her shock and anger after watching the film. She said, “I’m horrified. I had no idea. I knew that Falun Gong was being persecuted, but I had no idea of the extent or the depth. It’s very frightening. This film opened my eyes to the really gruesome reality and horrific acts. It’s a crime against humanity, and it needs to be stopped immediately.

“It’s frightening that this is being allowed in the world,” she said. “Hopefully more Americans and more Western societies understand what’s going on, and that will change our attitude towards dealing with the CCP, or any CCP entities that are in our own countries.”

Marian also expressed concern about the CCP’s transnational persecution of Falun Gong. “We must open our eyes and see clearly what the CCP is doing in the United States.”

Action Is Needed to Stop the Persecution

After the documentary was screened, many viewers said they would do their best to stop the CCP’s crime of forced organ harvesting.

Ilka Werner, who makes therapeutic heating and cooling packs, said, “I heard of the forced organ harvesting before. I just didn’t realize how far it went that prisoners are killed so others come in and purchase their organs.”

She emphasized, “I think as Americans, we’ve got to speak out against this [forced organ harvesting] wherever we can. We need to stop, and we need to put an end to this. And we can.”

Werner also suggested that the United States should not only legislate at the federal level, but also promote state-level legislation. She suggested that Chinese medical students should stay in the United States for at least ten years after receiving education here, to prevent them from being forced to participate in organ harvesting after returning to China.

She said angrily, “We can’t train their surgical skills, because then they return to China and are forced by the CCP to harvest organs in the back of a van!”

Former flower shop owner Marie Bushnell was shocked that American pharmaceutical companies provided supplies to the CCP military hospitals involved in organ transplants. “I was totally amazed and upset about this whole situation in China, and that our pharmaceutical companies send the supplies to these hospitals, these military hospitals in China that are doing the transplants.”

Marie Bushnell said she was shocked by what she learned while watching the film State Organs on January 29, 2025.

She said she would talk to the mayor of Doylestown and let more people know about the CCP’s persecution. She also thanked the filmmakers and event organizers, “because it’s going to impact the United States.”

Retired business owner John Ruby said he started “thinking about the promotion side of how to get the message out.”

After watching the documentary, his wife Marlene said with tears in her eyes, “My heart hurts. It’s so impactful, and there was remarkable information provided for us, that I was not aware.”

She emphasized, “To have the word go out is so important, because we don’t understand a lot of what’s going on in the world, and particularly, in China, because there isn’t open information coming out from there, in my opinion. So this is really pretty remarkable.”
