(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 23 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Liu Runmiao Faces Trial
Ms. Liu Runmiao’s case has been submitted to the Yingze District Court.
2. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhu Yuling Trial Scheduled
Ms. Zhu Yuling’s trial was scheduled for July 24, 2025 by the Huicheng District Court. She was arrested on April 11, 2024 and released on a one-year bail. The police renewed her bail conditions when submitting Ms. Zhu’s case to the procuratorate.
3. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested
Nine practitioners were arrested by officers from police stations in Longkou City on July 17 and 18, 2025.
On July 17, 2025, Ms. Fu Qiurong was arrested by officers from the Donglai Police Station; Ms. Li Yufang was arrested by Xinjia Police Station officers; Ms. Wang Hongyu was arrested by Beima Police Station officers; Ms. Zou Shuqing, Ms. Luna Yanping, and Wu, gender unknown, were arrested by Xufu Police Station officers; and Ms. Liu Haiyan was arrested by Longkou Development Zone Police Station officers. All of the practitioners’ home were ransacked and they were taken to the Yantai Detention Center for criminal detention.
Ms. Li Meiqing was arrested on July 18, 2025 and given administrative detention by Gangluan Police Station officers.
4. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tai Yuyan Subpoenaed by Procuratorate
Ms. Tai Yuyan was arrested while passing a security checkpoint in the Niuheliang High-speed Railway Station on April 24, 2025. Her home was ransacked. Due to her poor health, she was released on bail. The police have submitted her case to the Lingyuan City Procuratorate. She is now required to report to the procuratorate every day by phone.
5. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Shuying Arrested
Ms. Liu Shuying of Wuqing District talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in her residential district on the morning of July 15, 2025, and was reported to the police. Officers from the Yuchai Road Police Station soon arrested her.
6. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Jia Huanxin Arrested
Jia Huanxin, gender unknown, of Hemujing Township, talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong at a street market and was arrested by officers from the Qianying Township Police Station on July 15, 2025.
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Han Yujie Detained
Ms. Han Yujie was arrested and taken to the Weizigou Detention Center on the afternoon of July 10, 2025.
8. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Haiying Tried, Ms. Qi Yurong Detained
Ms. Zhang Haiying was arrested by Yingzi Town Police Station officers on the afternoon of July 2, 2025. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Qi Yurong of Xinqiu District was arrested the same day. The police confiscated her paper currency worth 300 yuan with Falun Gong messages printed on them. Both practitioners are now held in the Chengnan Detention Center.
Ms. Zhang was tried by the Chengnan Court on the morning of July 9, 2025.
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yaxian Arrested
Ms. Liu Yaxian was arrested at home by officers from the Erdao District Police Department on the morning of July 18, 2025.
10. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Zhengui Detained
Ms. Han Zhengui was arrested on the morning of July 8, 2025 and taken to the Tushan Police Station by Lazhou City 610 Office agents, Domestic Security Division officers, and village committee personnel. They confiscated from her home over fifty copies of Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, six media players, e-books, New Year decorations, desk calendars, couplets, stickers, amulets, and other items. She was detained in the Yantai City Lockup for 10 days and released on July 17, 2025.
11. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Huang Xia Videotaped
Ms. Huang Xia of Kaiyang County was videotaped by police officer Tian Wei when she picked up her grandson from kindergarten on June 23, 2025.
12. [Shanghai] Three Practitioners Harassed
Ms. Zhou Ling, Mr. Chen Jie, and Mr. Liu Shunming have been under close surveillance by the authorities since July 16, 2025.
13. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Mr. Gao Qiongzhi Searched at the Railway Station
Mr. Gao Qiongzhi was waiting for the train at the Fuyang Railway Station after passing through a security check in late June 2025, when several officers arrived, searched his luggage, and dragged him into the Fuyang Railway Police Station. They questioned him, searched him and his luggage again, photographed him, and seized his copy of Zhuan Falun. He was released three hours later.
After Mr. Gao bought another ticket in the afternoon, the police searched him and his luggage again. They took a picture of his ID card, checked the photo album in his cell phone, took pictures of his We-Chat account number, and information from his cell phone such as his International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI).
