(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners’ touring truth-clarification site came to the southern city of Breda in the Netherlands on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Members of the touring group held an activity in Grote Markt, the central square of Breda, from 12 p.m. They introduced Falun Gong to people and raised awareness about the persecution through display boards, demonstrating the exercises, distributing flyers, talking with pedestrians, and collecting signatures calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
Practitioners’ serene exercise movements and beautiful music attracted a large crowd. People were curious about what Falun Gong is and why it is so brutally suppressed in China.
Many people who chatted with practitioners said that they wanted to learn Falun Gong. A Dutch man, who had witnessed police arresting Falun Gong practitioners on the streets of Beijing, denounced the CCP’s atrocities. He signed the petition to support practitioners’ efforts and encouraged them to keep it up.

Brazilian Student: “Thank you for telling me this!”
Tiagog, a student from Brazil, had come to the Netherlands as an exchange student. On his very first day in the Netherlands, he saw Falun Gong practitioners clarifying the truth on the street. After learning about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and how the CCP covers up this information, he signed the petition to support practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.
“People should have freedom and truthful information. Thank you, for telling me these facts,” he said.
“I know the Chinese government controls the internet and doesn’t allow people to freely access it,” he said, “They are in fact covering up certain things, preventing people from knowing the truth, and infringing on people’s privacy.”

“I once saw police arrest Falun Gong practitioners on the streets of Beijing”
A Dutch man looked at the pictures on the truth-clarification boards showing police beating Falun Gong practitioners and told the practitioners on site, “I once personally saw police in Beijing arrest Falun Gong practitioners.”
More than 20 years ago, he had traveled to China. He saw a dozen people being arrested on the streets of Beijing and taken into police vehicles. Police ordered onlookers, including him, to leave quickly and not to watch. Someone told him that the people being arrested were Falun Gong practitioners.
“The Communist Party is jealous and greedy. I have never seen anyone flee from the West to China; I have only seen people escape from communist countries to the West!” the man said. “The Communist Party is afraid of the people, afraid of the people knowing the truth!”
He signed the petition to condemn the persecution and encouraged practitioners to keep up their efforts.

Practitioner: Hope More People Will Support Kindness and Speak out
Dutch Falun Gong practitioner Silvio said he had been interested in Daoist cultivation in China when he was young. He studied the Dan Jing, Dao Zang, and I Ching, and even traveled to China to seek a cultivation way. He later encountered Falun Dafa in the Netherlands and began practicing. “Falun Dafa changed my character, made my heart calmer and happier. I found the meaning of life and understood many questions about life,” he said.
“What Falun Dafa represents are universal values and the most beautiful qualities of human nature. Today in China, human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners are still happening, and this needs the attention of people in the West,” Silvio said.
Dutch practitioner Silvio hopes more people can support kindness and speak out for kindness
“People need to realize that there is good and evil in this world. We must support kindness and speak out for kindness,” Silvio said. “In the face of the CCP’s evil, if we remain silent, one day the CCP will also take away the freedoms that Western people still have today.”
He hopes more people can sign the petition to stop the CCP’s forced organ harvesting and support Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.
Breda is in the province of North Brabant (Noord Brabant) in the southern part of the Netherlands; it is the ninth-largest city in the nation.
