(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the annual Andover Day celebration in Andover, Massachusetts on September 20, 2025. They set up a booth at the crowded event to share information about Falun Dafa, and demonstrated the exercises. One Chinese man commented that Falun Dafa was like a refreshing stream.
Andover Day is the largest annual local community event, and features music performances, food, a children’s area, fun activities, and a beer and wine garden, etc. The organizer said that this year’s celebration attracted over 200 organizations and businesses. Crowds of people flocked to the various booths throughout the day. The Falun Dafa booth had a banner reading “Falun Dafa is Good,” and various other display panels showing the goodness that Falun Dafa brings to the world, along with its health benefits. The booth attracted many visitors.

Visitor Learns About Falun Dafa: “I Seem to be Searching for Something”
Practitioners set up various display panels at the booth, showing the goodness that Falun Dafa brings to the world and the elevation of one’s health and morality from practicing it. They also raised awareness of Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of the practice, and reminded people that “the CCP’s transnational repression is happening next to us, and has reached the U.S.A. and the world.” Some people said that Falun Dafa is like a guiding light in a world filled with chaos and confusion.
A 58-year-old successful businessman stopped at the Falun Dafa booth and looked through various journals about the practice. He said he fully agreed with Falun Dafa’s principles.
He said that looking back on his life, he felt fortunate not to have become trapped by money or fame. He freed himself in time to travel around the world, and visited monasteries and Taoist temples, including more than a dozen trips to Thailand. “I seem to be searching for something,” he said. “I feel fortunate to encounter Falun Dafa today. I hope to gain deeper understanding of it.” Before leaving, he made an appointment with practitioners to learn the exercises in Boston Common during the weekend.
Chinese Man Calls on Other Chinese to See Through the CCP
As the fair bustled with people and activities, an elderly Chinese man from Hebei Province, China gave practitioners a thumbs-up to show his support. He said the streets were noisy with people, vendors, and fast-paced modern music, “But at the Falun Dafa booth, people are peaceful and calm, and the exercise music is soothing, smooth, and calm,” he said. “It is like a refreshing stream in the bustling city.”
One Chinese family repeatedly came to the Falun Dafa booth. They took some informational brochures about the practice and some hand-made lotus pendants which had the words “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.”
A Chinese man who has lived in Andover for more than twenty years told the practitioners they were doing great work. He encouraged them to have courage and responsibility, and that they are China’s hope. He said that corruption is rampant in today’s China, and people are living in dire straits, making it difficult to even speak about the facts. He was threatened and had his account deleted for posting a fact online. He said that as the ancient saying goes, “One should not live in a dangerous country.” Although he missed his family, he said he was fortunate and grateful to get away from the CCP and live in the U.S.A.
He called on more Chinese people to see through the CCP and stand up like Falun Dafa practitioners. He said that only by doing so can Chinese people have truly good days in the future.
