(Minghui.org) “Excuse me, do you have a practice site in Füssen?” “Where can we learn to practice Falun Dafa?” “You are doing great, please keep up your efforts.” These were some comments Falun Dafa practitioners heard during an information day event in Füssen, Germany, on August 23, 2025.

Falun Dafa practitioners set up a booth near the city fountain, Stadtbrunnen, in the city center. They demonstrated the exercises, and displayed information about the practice and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. Many people stopped to talk and when they were told the event was held to help end the persecution and forced organ harvesting crimes targeting this peaceful group, they signed the petition.
Tourists Hope to Learn Falun Dafa

Many people were interested in Falun Dafa and asked where they could learn the exercises. They were happy to hear there was a practice site nearby and hoped a practice site could be set up in Füssen. Some people wanted to find out more about the main book Zhuan Falun, written by Falun Dafa’s founder and had a long chat with practitioners.
A German father was passing by the booth with his daughter and stopped to watch practitioners demonstrate the exercises. They chatted with the practitioner who was distributing flyers. When they realized the CCP is persecuting Falun Dafa, and does not allow people to practice Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, the father signed the petition to support the practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution. The man and his daughter continued talking to the practitioner for a long time and wanted to find out what Falun Dafa is all about. The practitioner introduced Zhuan Falun to them, telling them that Falun Dafa teaches people to cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance and be a good person and examine themselves when there were conflicts. He explained that Falun Dafa is taught for free and is practiced all over the world. The practitioner also shared his personal cultivation experiences with them.
A tourist signed the petition to stop the CCP’s harvesting of Falun Dafa practitioners’ organs while they are still alive and said, “I have an organ donor card, but I object to the sale of organs.”
Two ladies sat by the fountain and watched as practitioners demonstrated the exercises. They lingered there for a long time. A practitioner told them what Falun Dafa is and why the CCP persecutes the spiritual practice. The ladies listened very attentively. When they were told that they can help to stop the CCP’s persecution by signing the petition, they got up and went to the booth to sign the petition, appearing happy for the opportunity to help.
Social Worker: People Should Have Freedom to Practice Their Belief

German social worker Elvira signed the petition to end the CCP’s forced live organ harvesting from Falun Dafa practitioners. She said that she pays great attention to others, “People should have the freedom to think, believe and cultivate. As long as they do not hurt or bully others, they should be able to promote their beliefs and ideas. Of course, I object to these restrictions [on people’s freedom to think and believe].
“I know that the CCP hid many death sentences and those that were executed were all young people. Organ transactions do exist there.” Elvira said she previously heard about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s crimes of forced organ harvesting that targets practitioners, “I am not surprised at all. From what I know, many horrible persecutions exist in China. Take for example Tibet, look at how they [CCP] forces people to assimilate with their regime, depriving them of their beliefs and culture.”
With regards to Falun Dafa’s cultivation based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, Elvira said, “I feel that these are universal values that are very close to my belief.” As for the CCP not allowing people to follow Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance for the past 26 years, she said, “This is a restriction of one’s freedom, just like what happened in the dictatorship.” She also said that her husband is a pastor and they always supported the freedom of belief. She wished practitioners success.
Füssen is a Roman settlement on the Via Claudia Augusta near the Austrian border and Neuschwanstein Castle. In the 8th century AD, it was an economic transit point between southern and northern Europe. From the 15th to 18th centuries, the region was renowned for its expertise in making laute and violins and was known as the cradle of commercial laute making in Europe. The city survived World War II largely unscathed and has become a tourist hot spot in the recent decades due to Neuschwanstein Castle.
