(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Three Sisters Arrested, One Faces Indictment

4. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Du Mengyu Arrested
5. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Dongying and Mr. Han Baolai Arrested
6. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Arrested and Two Practitioners Harassed
7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Xuemei Released and Ms. Jiang Cuiyun Missing
8. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Liliang Arrested
9. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Xiyu Harassed
1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Three Sisters Arrested, One Faces Indictment
Three sisters, Ms. Liu Yushan, Ms. Liu Yuzhu, and Ms. Liu Yuzhi, all in their 70s, were arrested in January 2026 and had their homes ransacked. Ms. Liu Yushan and Ms. Liu Yuzhi were deemed unfit for detention and released. Ms. Liu Yuzhu, however, was admitted to the Pudong Detention Center and released on bail on January 18. Officers of the Jinmen Road Police Station have submitted Ms. Liu Yuzhu’s case to the Shinan District Procuratorate.
2. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Six Practitioners Tried
Practitioners Liao Yuanhua, Zhang Baozhen, Chen Guangyu, Lyu Xiaoping, Gao Yan, and Chen Hua were tried by the Wuxue City Court on October 14, 2026. Liao Yuanhua’s lawyers entered a not guilty plea.
3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Female Practitioner Xiaomei Arrested
Xiaomei (nickname), a female practitioner from Hancheng Town, Lubei District, was arrested at Xinjuntun Farmers Market on October 20, 2026. She was taken to Fengrun District Case Handling Hall. Her family members aren’t allowed to visit her. Her mother, in her 80s, is left with no one to care for her.
4. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Du Mengyu Arrested
Ms. Du Mengyu went missing after October 14, 2026. A few days later, her family found a message left by her saying that she had been taken away by the police. Her whereabouts remain unknown.
5. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Dongying and Mr. Han Baolai Arrested
According to Mr. Han Dongying’s family, detention center guards called them and requested Mr. Han’s medical records, stating that he had suffered two epileptic seizures while in custody. Mr. Han’s epilepsy first developed years ago during a period of persecution, after police officers applied shocks to his head with an electric baton. Later, through the practice of Falun Gong exercises for an extended period of time, his health greatly improved. However, following his recent detention, his health has deteriorated.
It was reported that Mr. Han Baolai was arrested on the evening of September 1, 2026, in Maoqi Town, after the police staked out there.
6. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Arrested and Two Practitioners Harassed
From late September to early October 2026, four practitioners were arrested or harassed by local police and agents from the Political and Legal Affairs Committee and Domestic Security Division.
Mr. Jiang Zhi was arrested and detained for five days. Ms. Luan Liyang was taken to a police station, where the police attempted to take her blood sample, and she didn’t comply. Mr. Dong Guozhi’s home was ransacked, and 13 of his Falun Gong books were confiscated. Yang Chun was also harassed at home.
7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Xuemei Released and Ms. Jiang Cuiyun Missing
Mr. Wang Xuemei was released from the Yantai City Detention Center on October 21, 2026, after one month of detention.
Ms. Jiang Cuiyun, in her late 60s, has gone missing since October 10, 2026. Her family suspect that she had been arrested.
8. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Liliang Arrested
Mr. Wang Liliang was arrested at home by five officers from Shuangjie Police Station on October 19, 2026. They accused him of distributing Falun Gong materials and confiscated his laptop, cell phone, printer, Falun Gong books, and other items. They then took him to the Beichen District Police Department for interrogation. He was released in the afternoon.
9. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Xiyu Harassed
Ms. Zhu Xiyu was arrested on October 18, 2026, after being reported by a high school student for talking to him about Falun Gong. She was released later that day. A group of officers harassed her at home on October 22 and questioned her about the source of the informational materials that she carried with her.
