Priamo Bocchi (Screenshot courtesy of The Epoch Times)

Priamo Bocchi, Member of the Italian Regional Council and leader of the Brothers of Italy parliamentary group, saw Shen Yun in Rome on February 13.

“For years, I had heard about this performance but never witnessed it firsthand. Watching it filled me with immense joy and astonishment. It has inspired me to explore cultures I previously knew little about. It truly is a beautiful and exhilarating performance,” Mr. Bocchi said.

“The first aspect that captivated me was the dazzling brilliance—the exquisite costumes and the serenity emanating from the dancers’ movements and expressions. It conveyed a remarkable sense of peace and joy,” he said.

Mr. Bocchi described the performance’s emphasis on the connection between humanity and the divine as “absolutely, absolutely vital” in today’s world. “It addresses a yearning rooted within each of us. Rediscovering the divine essence within the heart is not only about personal peace—it is a true path of self-discovery.”

“I come from Parma, the home of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera, so we are lovers of bel canto, and I must say that [the soprano] was very good, the message was beautiful, the words were beautiful, and her vocal technique was great. So if she came to Parma to sing, she would also receive applause from us at the Teatro Regio in Parma,” he said.

“A Dream-like World”

Brigadier General Fernando Verdolotti saw Shen Yun in Rome on February 15.

“The performance was extremely creative,” Mr. Verdolotti said.

“That was a dream-like world. The performance took you to a world full of imagination, a perfect world, an ideal world. So it was truly extraordinarily beautiful!” he said.

“Profoundly Moving and Captivating”

Giulio Terzi (Screenshot courtesy of The Epoch Times)

Giulio Terzi, senator and former Italian Foreign Minister, saw Shen Yun in Rome on February 13.

“This performance was profoundly moving and captivating,” Mr. Terzi said. “Every aspect—from the choreography and colors to the expressiveness, elegance, and aesthetic appeal—held the audience’s attention throughout.”

Having seen Shen Yun several times, Mr. Terzi noted that he remained deeply moved. “The most striking aspect was the powerful message conveyed—revealing a classical and profound dimension of Chinese culture rarely showcased today. Only this exceptional artistic ensemble could express such a free, transcendent, and deeply spiritual message.”

“Sacred values are conveyed through figures descending from the heavens—this lightness and profundity ultimately blossom into moving beauty within the artistic expression.

“My heartfelt thanks go to all the artists and contributors, and even to those who endure suffering because these works cannot be presented in China. We hope the day will soon come when Shen Yun can perform in China, and that the Chinese people will regain the freedom they deserve,” he said.

“Absolutely Superb”

Antony Bertola (Screenshot courtesy of NTD)

Antony Bertola, mayor of Llandudno, UK, saw Shen Yun in Llandudno on February 14.

“It is absolutely superb in terms of choreography, the colors, the costumes, the movements, the fluidity, the orchestra and the combination, the timing of the music, and the way the dancers move,” said Mayor Bertola.

“I think the techno side, the graphics are fantastic,” added Mayoress Marubbi. “The costumes are beautiful. There’s so much [vibrancy], the colors, and it tells the story, and it tells it so well, and I’ve just had a great afternoon. It’s wonderful.”

“This particular performance and show tells you about the human nature of people and what they’re capable of doing and how kind you can be to each other, fostering harmony, friendships, and looking after each other,” Mayor Bertola said.

“The sort of feelings that give you about heaven and earth, and hopefulness and appreciation, and camaraderie and bonding, and good to bad and bad to good. So there’s an emotional context there, which is, when I say provoking, I mean provoking to the mind in a conscious way that we’re here to help each other,” he said.

“I think that your destiny is there for us. If you’re a good person, then you’re going to get a good result about your life. And those who are bad and evil, they get their comeuppance, but they’re able to be forgiven and then understand that we need to work together in harmony,” he said.

“Made me Happy and Hopeful”

Cornelia Kaminski (Screenshot courtesy of NTD)

Cornelia Kaminski, Germany’s federal chairwoman of the advocacy group Action for the Right to Life for All, saw Shen Yun in Berlin, Germany, on February 10.

“I kept seeing the [Shen Yun] ads online, and every time I thought, ‘Wow, that looks amazing, so acrobatic!’ I really wanted to experience it live, and today I was absolutely thrilled. It was even better than I’d imagined,” she said.

“What impressed me the most was that I probably could have understood the stories even if they hadn’t been announced beforehand, because they were conveyed so expressively, with gestures, facial expressions, and the whole physical movement. That totally impressed me. And then, of course, the acrobatics, those jumps, that was really amazing.

“What I found impressive is that it’s obviously possible to fill the hall with this very spiritual message. And I see that we’re resonating with something in people that has been buried but is still there. And that’s very good because it helps us to translate this message, this good message, into the present—to make it resonate in our society. That made me happy and hopeful.

“This is a message of transcendence. It’s a message that there is a higher being, a Divine being, that resides somewhere within us all, and that it must be awakened, but also respected and honored. And that we have a responsibility towards this higher power—not towards our neighbor, not towards ourselves—but there is someone else who is higher and more powerful than we are. This is someone good for whom it is worthwhile to do good in life, here and now.

“If you want to know what’s possible in a China without the Communist Party, then watch this show. If you want to know what’s possible in a society that embraces transcendence and spirituality, then watch this show. It’s a very hopeful message,” Ms. Kaminski said.

“You cannot use good or bad to judge this performance. Simply put, this was a divine world – just like the name. The performers showed it with unparalleled elegance and beauty,” he said.

Mayor of Carrollton Steve Babick and his wife Peggy Babick saw Shen Yun in Dallas on February 10.

“It was 5,000 years’ worth of history all in a show. I think it really focuses on not only the culture—whether it’s ethnic or the regions—but also the faith that they have,” Mr. Babick said.

“It was unbelievable. It was so beautiful and I learned so much... I learned about the way the culture has evolved over the years,” Ms. Babick said.

“In terms of the Creator and their God and so forth, it really just kind of emphasizes how alike we really are. We all have our families, we all have our loves, we all have our gods, and we worship them, and we praise them,” Mr. Babick shared.
