(Minghui.org) Large language models such as GPT5 have become powerful tools. My understanding is that we practitioners should not use alien technology. However, in reality, such technology is being developed so quickly that soon no one will be able to avoid using AI in our daily work and lives. I think practitioners should limit their use of AI, especially language models, to work-related tasks, daily needs, gathering information, and academic research, and we should completely avoid the use of AI in the following two aspects.

First, we should not send Falun Dafa books and articles to an AI. Once we feed it a phrase from the Fa, it can “review and comment” on the Fa. We should also avoid either intentionally or inadvertently causing an AI to mimic the way Master speaks or even generate a fake article or quote from Master. Furthermore, we should consider that our private conversations with AI will be used to train future models.

Second, we should not converse with AI about human nature, such as morality, xinxing, what’s right, and what’s wrong. I once asked AI to summarize a report for my boss. After it finished the task, it spontaneously predicted my boss’s possible reactions and analyzed his work relationships and personality. I was really into what it said. When my boss reacted pretty much the same way as the AI predicted, I became alarmed and changed my settings to have the AI refrain from discussing human nature.

When you talk to AI about these topics, it might impress you with its knowledge from reading all the books and journals relating to psychology. It might make you feel that it’s much nicer and smarter than the people who often misunderstand or wrong you. It might even analyze how your mind works and what your fundamental attachments might be.

We should remember that an AI model contains both normal knowledge and all the nonsense on the Internet written by people in the Dharma-ending time. Also, the AI training process tries to weed out unwelcome and unpleasant speech and adopt the talking points that can best please its users by catering to their attachments.

The more you talk to AI about human nature, the more you will be led to think that it understands you. Eventually your zealotry will have you unknowingly accepting its opinions. This is equivalent to worshiping AI, giving it energy, and allowing it to dictate your cultivation.

The latest version of GPT can basically do what I am discussing here. These AI tools will quickly permeate all aspects of our lives, and become more powerful as time goes by. I am writing this article to warn practitioners ahead of time.

I suggest that practitioners who work with computers or independent media channels, and those who often have AI apps running on their computers, be mindful of these points when using AI and working with Dafa materials.
