(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney, Australia, held a grand parade in the city center on May 7, 2026, to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day, which falls on May 13.
People thanked Falun Gong for bringing goodness to the city and said that the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are important and everyone should comply with them.

Falun Gong Brings Goodness to This City
Dr. Kelsey Burton said that Falun Gong practitioners were marvelous.
Dr. Kelsey Burton saw the scene of practitioners meditating and said that this was the first time she had heard of Falun Gong. She said that a teacher had told her not to work so hard the night before and to practice meditation, and then she saw this serene meditation today. She felt that it was fate.
She praised Falun Gong for bringing goodness to the city. She said that meditation was one of the most effective ways to know oneself and to elevate oneself. She understood that Falun Gong was an ancient cultivation way from Chinese culture and said she felt relaxed and happy when she saw practitioners meditating.
Her doctoral research topic was on toxicity and bullying. When she learned about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, she said that she couldn’t put up with it and couldn’t accept it at all from the bottom of her heart. She said she doesn’t like people who abuse their power or people who suppress peaceful people who bring goodness to this world. She said that we often see toxic and powerful people who hold important positions, killing people and destroying beautiful things in this world. She said that practitioners were marvelous because they expose the persecution and step out to discuss it.
She hoped that Falun Gong practitioners in China would hold onto their beliefs and charge forward even under the huge pressure.
Passerby Sam said that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance were the most important principles, and everyone should comply with them.
Sam was passing by Martin Square when he saw practitioners talking to people about Falun Gong and the CCP’s persecution. Sam said that the practitioners were kind and good. He said that many people put material interests first, that practitioners teach people the Falun Gong exercises for free, and spread the universal values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, which touched him.
He said that the principles were important and everyone should comply with them. He asked if there were any practice sites near his home so that he could learn the practice, and thanked the practitioners.
The parade started at 12:30 p.m. from Martin Square and traveled along Castlereagh Street in the city center before ending at Belmore Park opposite Central Station one hour later.

He said the principles were perfect and were good to humanity, and that he couldn’t understand why the CCP brutally persecuted practitioners and wanted to support them. He sent his best regards to the founder of Falun Gong and best wishes to Falun Gong practitioners, and hoped that Falun Gong would become increasingly popular.
