(Minghui.org) I am 52 years old and have been practicing Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) for 21 years. I would like to share some of my cultivation experiences while assisting Master Li Hongzhi with the Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings.
Woman Quits the CCP While at a Traffic Stop
While waiting at an intersection, a woman next to me on a scooter said, “You are really fast on your bicycle! How old are you?” She thought I might be in my 30s.
“Actually, I am over 50 years old.” She did not believe me. “It’s something I practice that keeps me young.” When she asked what it was, I told her, “Falun Gong cultivates both mind and body, and teaches Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. It keeps me young. All my illnesses are gone, and I’ve never had to take medication again. Do you belong to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)?”
“Yes, for a few dozen years now,” she replied.
I continued, “I urge you to quit, or else all the CCP’s bad deeds will drag you down too. It’s because of the oath you took—you pledged your life to it. This evil oath will exist until you quit from it in your heart.”
The woman said she had heard about this before, but did not believe it. Now, seeing me so healthy and young for my age, she decided to quit the CCP right away.
Then the lights turned green, and I wished her a safe trip as I rode off.
Recently, I have met many people like her. They could not believe my age at first. Once I tell them about Falun Gong, they have me help them quit the CCP's organizations.
Encounter at the Furniture Store
I bought two wardrobes at a furniture store. The salesperson quit the CCP after I told her about Falun Dafa.
The store owner came to the counter when I was ready to pay. She was tall and elegant. Determined to tell her about Falun Gong, I asked her her age. “I am 42,” she replied.
“I am 52,” I said. She was surprised to hear that. “I look young because I practice Falun Gong.” She wanted to know more, so I started by telling her that Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are the guiding principles of Falun Dafa, and that our Master teaches us to be considerate of others and look for our mistakes first when faced with problems. Also I explained that the self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square was staged.
“I was actually having a hard time sorting out a few things in my mind, and what you are saying makes sense,” she said. “Let’s exchange contact details.”
She walked with me all the way to the main entrance. I explained that I do not bring my phone when I go out because the CCP monitors Falun Gong practitioners’ locations. I also told her about the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living practitioners. “A college student went missing in broad daylight just like that. There is no justice, and morality is sliding down day by day. Nevertheless, Heaven will still punish the evil, and those who joined the CCP’s organizations will bear the consequences. The only way to escape punishment is to quit the Party.” She agreed to use a pseudonym to quit. I was happy for her.
A couple of times, I met people who already knew the truth about the persecution, and they shouted, “Falun Dafa is good!” I was happy for them too!
Riding My Bicycle
I often visit my daughter by bike. It takes about an hour there and back. There is a big hill I have to ride over, and I go fast even though my bike is quite old. Just like Master said:
“... you will feel that your body is light, as though treading on air. In the past, you would be tired if you walked a few steps, but now it is very easy no matter how far you walk. You feel as if being pushed while riding a bike, and you are not tired when going upstairs no matter how many floors there are.” (Lecture Eight, Zhuan Falun)
I cycle up that big hill as if I were riding on the flat road, fast and steady, with plenty of energy.
My daughter was moving to another apartment. After everything was loaded onto the removal truck, there was only space for one more person besides the driver. I let my daughter ride in the truck, and I went by bicycle. We ended up arriving at the same time. I was not tired at all.
There were times Master hinted that I should not ride so fast, and to pay attention to safety. I am grateful for Master’s protection. I will mind my speed and yield to others while on the road.
At the Market Place
Today at the market, I met a colleague whom I have not seen for many years. I call him “old brother.” He told me, “You look just the same, you haven’t changed!”
“Let me tell you something,” I said. “The CCP hid the truth about the COVID pandemic. Natural disasters and man-made calamities are happening all around us. Our Master told us to save people. Did you join the CCP’s organizations? You should quit them to stay safe. When in danger, reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ will keep you safe.”
He quit the organizations he had previously joined. Then I gave him three articles: “How Humankind Came To Be,” “The Ordeals Our Spiritual Discipline Faces,” “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing,” and a USB flash drive about Falun Gong. He carefully put them in his bag and said he would look at them at home.
After saying farewell to my old coworker, I ran into a classmate from middle school. I had talked to her about Falun Gong in the past, and she is aware of the truth behind the persecution. She asked if I had dyed my hair. “No, I don’t dye my hair,” I replied.
My hair is still jet black, but her hair has turned gray. She said, “What is wrong with believing in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance? The CCP call themselves good, but what they are doing is not good at all. Falun Gong is truly good from what we can see.”
I am grateful for Master’s teachings, so that I have youth and health, which no amount of money can buy. I am healthier now than in my younger years. My mind is at ease, not bothered by any mental pressure, and I am full of energy.
Falun Gong is the most valuable wealth I have. What Master has given me is priceless. Yet, we received everything for free. It is my honor to be a Falun Dafa disciple, and I am proud to be at Master’s side!
