(Minghui.org) We are Falun Dafa practitioners from the Greater Philadelphia area in the United States, dedicated to clarifying the truth and encouraging people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations at the Liberty Bell and in Chinatown.
Year after year—regardless of the season, be it the bitter cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer—we have steadfastly maintained our presence on the front lines to clarify the truth and offer salvation.
The Liberty Bell, a top destination for tourists from around the world, is located in the square in front of Independence Hall. Since the pandemic ended, the number of Chinese visitors has been steadily increasing.
Almost every day that visitors arrive, we can talk to them—helping them understand the truth and encouraging them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and it’s affiliated organizations. We would reach anywhere from a dozen to 40 or 50 Chinese tourists.
However, due to our limited manpower, we frequently do not have time to speak with many of the visitors, and we are left watching helplessly as they depart—a situation we find deeply regrettable! How we wish that, upon reaching their next sightseeing spot, there would be fellow Dafa practitioners there to continue sharing the truth with them and encouraging them to quit the CCP.
Over the years, we have built good relationships with many tour guides and tourists. We often ask them, “Where are you from? Did you come across any Falun Dafa practitioners at the last attraction?” We also occasionally ask the tour guides, “You’re heading to Washington, D.C. next. Do you expect to see any Falun Dafa practitioners there?”
The guides tell us, “We haven’t seen any in recent years.” We were quite taken aback to hear this. We wondered whether our fellow practitioners sharing the truth had missed the tourists’ arrival times, or whether the local practitioners had overlooked that particular attraction.
Many tourists visit the United States, traveling from California to destinations such as New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. In our local area, we frequently encounter large tour groups—often five full buses—arriving from mainland China.
Most of these groups travel from New York to Philadelphia, typically departing for Washington, D.C., shortly after 11:00 a.m. each day. During the second half of last year alone, we successfully persuaded approximately 7,000 people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.
Just a few days ago, seven buses filled with mainland tourists arrived all at once. Our elderly practitioners worked with great urgency and dedication to clarify the truth and encourage these withdrawals. Some visitors even requested multiple copies of The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party—an experience that left us feeling that people everywhere are truly beginning to awaken.
Master told us:
“Right now every minute and every second is crucial. If you miss out during this period of time, you miss out on everything. History won’t recur. The history of the cosmos and the Three Realms have gone through so many, long, long years—what have all the beings been waiting for? What are they all here for? For exactly these few years! Yet there are [Dafa] students who are squandering their lives during these few years, not seizing the time. Having studied Master’s Fa, we feel an even greater sense of urgency to save people! We, Dafa disciples worldwide, constitute a single body. How we wish that all Dafa disciples throughout the world would take action—to seize every moment to save people —thereby fulfilling the vows we made in the prehistoric past!
We would like to take this opportunity, through a corner of the Minghui website, to call upon Dafa disciples at tourist sites around the world to step forward immediately to clarify the truth and save all people.
