(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Chongqing] Ms. Yan Chengyu Harassed
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guofen Remains in Detention Center
8. [Wei County, Hebei Province] Mr. Yu Hengrui Arrested
9. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chu Fengjiao Detained
10. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Qingshu Summoned
11. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Xiangchen Detained
1. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. An Jingtao Taken to Prison
Ms. An Jingtao was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison following a hearing on March 10, 2026. She appealed with the Qiqihar City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold her original verdict. She was admitted to the Heilongjiang Province Women’s Prison on July 2, 2026.
2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qi Xiulan Arrested
Ms. Qi Xiulan was arrested by Wangtai Police Station officers on July 8, 2026, after she was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Wangtai Community Market.
3. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Lijuan Detained
Ms. Zhang Lijuan was arrested at home by three officers from Shichang Street Police Station on July 9, 2026. She was admitted to the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center that afternoon and held for 10 days.
4. [Guyuan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Gao Yulian Detained
Ms. Gao Yulian was arrested by Guyuan County Police Department officers on July 6, 2026. She is being held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center.
5. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Yuying and Her Family Harassed
Officers from Xinong Police Station went to Ms. Sun Yuying’s home to harass her on July 8, 2026. She wasn’t home. The police then called her husband and demanded to know her whereabouts. He refused to answer.
6. [Chongqing] Ms. Yan Chengyu Harassed
Ms. Yan Chengyu, in her 80s, was harassed at home on June 27, 2026. The police and community worker took pictures of her without her permission.
7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guofen Remains in Detention Center
Ms. Wang Guofen was arrested around March 2026. She has been held in the Changchun City Detention Center ever since.
8. [Wei County, Hebei Province] Mr. Yu Hengrui Arrested
Mr. Yu Hengrui, in his 60s, is a retired teacher. He was arrested in late April 2026 by Wei County Police Department officers for posting Falun Gong materials. He was released on medical parole the following day due to high blood pressure, and hospitalized for 16 days after that.
9. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chu Fengjiao Detained
Ms. Chu Fengjiao was arrested on May 14, 2026. She was taken to a detention center two days later and released on June 19. The police extorted tens of thousands yuan from her.
10. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Qingshu Summoned
Three officers from Louzhangzi Town Police Station went to Mr. Zhang Qingshu’s home on June 17, 2026, and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and two copies of Zhuan Falun. Mr. Zhang was not home, and the officers intimidated his wife.
The officers returned to Mr. Zhang’s home on July 6. He was still not home, so they left a summons on the windowsill.
11. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Xiangchen Detained
Mr. Wang Xiangchen was placed under administrative detention for 15 days and was scheduled to be released on July 15.
