(Minghui.org) I’ve practiced Falun Dafa for 28 years and I’m now 77. I don’t know how much Master Li has done or borne for me. He pulled practitioners out of hell, restored our health, taught us the Fa and guides us through trials. I feel happy and blessed to be a Falun Dafa practitioner in this lifetime. Master, you are truly magnificent!
I’d like to share two stories about the positive effect clarifying the facts about Dafa had.
After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Dafa and practitioners, Master asked us to let people know the truth about Dafa. I’ve talked to people every day, and with Master’s protection, I’ve overcome many tribulations. Whenever I did not do well Master repeatedly helped me, and I learned and improved in the process. I was once reported to the authorities while I told people the facts about the persecution, and my family was extorted. My husband was terrified and repeatedly lashed out at me physically. I continued clarifying the truth to people because I knew people were being interfered with, but nothing could stop me.
I told an elderly man who had a stroke about Falun Dafa and asked him to say, “Falun Dafa is good. Truth-Compassion-Forbearance are good.” I also suggested he withdraw from the CCP organizations he joined. I gave him an amulet and a booklet: Heaven-Sent Blessings. He agreed to withdraw from the Youth League and the Young Pioneers. When I saw him later, he looked happy and said, “Look, I no longer need my cane! Thank you.” I replied, “You should thank our Master. He is the one who bestows blessings on people.”
I said after he finished reading the materials he should pass them on to others so they could benefit too. I added that doing this is a good deed and accumulates virtue. He replied, “I’ve given all the materials away. People are asking for them. I can’t keep up with the demand. Please give me more.”
So, I started bringing him 20 copies each week. Once the booklet Heaven, Earth, and All Living Beings was released, people were eager to read it. He said people were clamoring for them, so I brought him 20 copies every week. I told him, “You have good inborn quality. You should read the Dafa books.” I brought him a copy of Zhuan Falun.
When I later asked if he read it he said, “I did. My wife and my daughter also read it. They said the book taught them wonderful things to live by, including ‘Truth-Compassion-Forbearance,’ which is absolutely right! So this is the Fa that saves people. No one should persecute a righteous faith. Look at all these natural and man-made disasters. People are awakening every day and Heaven is eliminating the CCP.”
My second daughter visited me last month and she was very upset. She told me her twin sons were accepted into university but might face obstacles because of me. They told her that the political background checks cover three generations. She said, “You can’t jeopardize my children’s future. Maybe you should stop practicing for now.”
Seeing that I remained unmoved, she burst into tears and grew more agitated as she spoke. I knew this interference was using family ties to shake my righteous faith and pull me down. I adamantly refused to fall into the old forces’ trap. I calmed down, sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master for help. I said to her, “Please hear me out, and you’ll understand. Many children of Dafa practitioners have faced this situation, but they did not sign anything. Many of them went to university anyway. Don’t listen to that nonsense. I’ve practiced for 28 years. Dafa gave me a healthy body and good character. You know this. You see that I never cause trouble for you and I always consider others. You can see how wonderful Falun Dafa through me. Please don’t disrespect Dafa. Please remember, ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Master is looking after us, and what the CCP says doesn’t count.”
I read some of Master’s teachings to her,
“When a person is born, a profile of his whole life will exist in a specific dimension. In other words, where he is in his life and what he should do are all included in it. Who has arranged his life? It is obviously a higher life that has arranged it. For instance, in our ordinary human society, after birth one belongs to a certain family, a certain school, and upon growing up a certain workplace; various contacts in society are made through a person’s job. That is, the layout of the entire society has been planned this way.” (Lecture Seven, Zhuan Falun)
I explained that a person’s life is pre-arranged. Everyone has their own destiny, and it is not for anyone else to decide. I am truly blessed to practice Falun Dafa.
The conflict was resolved and my daughter calmed down. She had arrived in a huff but left feeling less anxious. As it turned out, my grandsons were accepted into the police academy and are about to start school.
As the Fa-rectification draws to a close, I must walk the final part of my cultivation journey well and return home with Master. This is my personal understanding. If anything is not in line with the Fa, please kindly point it out to me.
