When local court officials illegally tried her on September 10, 2010, an ambulance was waiting outside the court building. Her family learned that Ms. Du was sent to the Yitong County Chinese Medicine Hospital for emergency treatment a few days later, and that she is in critical condition.

It was renamed "Liaoning Province Women's Labor Re-education Management Institute" in October 2008, and now as "Psychological Counseling School." The "school" is not meant to offer psychological counseling, but to implement brainwashing of Falun Gong practitioners, and meanwhile make the practitioners do hard labor for long hours.
