(Minghui.org) A Shanghai woman has been having trouble keeping liquids and food down since her November arrest last year for distributing literature exposing the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ms. Huang Qiaoqin, in her 60s, was arrested by agents from Xuhui District Police Station on November 25, 2013. Subsequent mistreatment in Xuhui District Detention Center rendered her nearly blind in both eyes. Her blood sugar level is also dangerously high. Her teeth loosened, and several fell out.
She can't stop vomiting, and her weight dropped from 174 lbs to 94 lbs during her ten-month detention. Her condition is precarious.
The symptoms she has are the same as those experienced by Mr. Ma Xinxing and Ms. Zhang Zhiyun, two local Falun Gong practitioners confirmed to have died of food poisoning.
While Mr. Ma was incarcerated in the Third Forced Labor Camp in Shanghai, he became emaciated due to constant vomiting. He died one month after his release in November 2003. Multiple sources have confirmed that he was poisoned in the labor camp.
Ms. Huang's family suspect that she has been poisoned as well.
