(Minghui.org) I came to France in 2014. I have been raising awareness among the Chinese tourists at the Eiffel Tower ever since and encouraging them to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. No matter what the weather, I go there and clarify the truth every day. A lot of Chinese tourists visit every day, and a constant stream of people comes and goes.
During the summer of 2019, the number of Chinese tourists increased significantly. A restaurant owner said, “There are 2000 to 3000 tourists today, mainly because there are many students.” It was hot at noon that day, and the sun was scorching. We practitioners continued clarifying the truth to the tourists and persuading them to withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations.
As I talked to a tourist group, they lined up in a long line to enter a restaurant. I walked with the group and clarified the truth. Some of them had quit the CCP and its youth organizations, and some accepted our newspapers. When the tourists were approaching the restaurant, I saw a young man at the front of the line step out of the line, and he turned around and looked at me. He stood about seven steps from me.
I approached him to clarify the truth, and he said loudly to me, “I have been watching you speak and have been waiting for you to come to explain things to me. But I missed it. I have to stop and wait for you to come. I would rather not eat this meal than miss this opportunity.” I smiled and said, “We were destined to meet here.”
“You don't need to tell me anymore,” the young man said. “I understand everything you said. I am a senior student, a probationary Party member, and I joined the Youth League and the Young Pioneers before. I quit them all. I know how I will do in the future. I really understand that Falun Gong is a good practice and it is the CCP that distorts the facts to persecute Falun Gong. I am very lucky to hear you explain it so clearly.”
As he said this, I saw his eyes turn red and he was very excited. I said, “I will give you a pseudonym and help you withdraw from the CCP organizations you have joined to keep you safe in the future. Is the name Bowen okay?” He smiled, pressed his hands together, and said, “Okay.”
He said, “Before I left China, a friend of mine told me, 'If you meet a Falun Gong woman practitioner who clarifies the truth to you when you visit the Eiffel Tower in France, you must stop and listen to her. Don't miss your chance. Since I quit the CCP there, I've felt like a layer of covering was removed. It's very relaxing and comfortable. I do everything smoothly. Believe it or not, you should experience it for yourself.
“I don't feel like my friend did, but after hearing what you said, I want to cry and can't stop crying. I don't know why.”
I said, “Everyone has Buddha nature and kindness. It is your good thoughts that have come out, and you know how to be a good person. You can distinguish right from wrong and will not be deceived and misled by the CCP's lies. This is your blessing.
“I will give you software to circumvent the CCP's information censorship. When you go back, you can go online and read the precious book Zhuan Falun that every Dafa disciple studies. After you finish reading it, you will know why Dafa practitioners do not give up their belief despite the CCP's brutal persecution.”
“I will search the Internet when I get back. Thank you,” he said. He pressed his hands together and said goodbye.
Clarifying the Truth to High School Students
Another tour group had members who were all high school students. After eating in a restaurant, they came out one after another to wait for the bus. I first greeted three students who were chatting there and then clarified the truth to them. These few people were happy to let me give them a pseudonym, and quit their memberships in the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers. I went on to clarify the truth to other people, and they all agreed to quit the CCP organizations.
More and more students were waiting for the bus, and they were all quietly listening to my truth clarification. A female student smiled and asked, “What you said about Falun Gong is good. So why don't you allow practitioners to take medicine?” I said, “That's a good question. The CCP made up lies to slander Falun Gong. You can read Falun Gong books. There is nothing in them about not being allowed to take medicine.”
A male student interrupted me and said, “Then why did you set yourselves on fire on Tiananmen Square?” I answered, “That was just the CCP-staged incident in Tiananmen Square to frame Falun Gong. There are many suspicious points in the video footage. The person who set himself on fire had an intact Sprite bottle between his legs that was filled with gasoline.
“The fire burned his whole body, but the plastic Sprite bottle did not melt or deform. His face was burnt, but his hair and eyebrows, which are most prone to fire, were left intact. Is that possible? On such a huge Tiananmen Square, after the self-immolation fire was ignited, within half a minute, more than 20 policemen each had a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket in their hands. Where did they come from? Thinking about it a little bit, you'll understand that this was staged by the CCP to slander Falun Gong and deceive kindhearted Chinese people. It was also staged to deceive governments and people all over the world.
“You can read the Falun Gong book Zhuan Falun, which clearly states that killing and suicide are both sinful. Therefore, no Dafa disciple who truly cultivates would commit suicide or self-immolation in violation of the requirements of Dafa.”
When I talked about this, some people nodded and said, “That's reasonable, we didn't think about it at all. After hearing what you said, it's really the case!” Some people said, “So it's like this. We were fooled.”
One person continued to ask me: “People of your age are suffering here and being scolded by others. I saw some people pushing you, but you were not angry and insisted on talking here. What are you doing this for? Do you need some money to support your family? Does your Master pay you?”
Just as I was about to answer this question, a young man stretched out his hand, walked over toward me with slow steps, pointed at me with his middle finger with a contemptuous look in his eyes, and stood in front of me. I didn't pay attention to his behavior. I smiled at him.
I told everyone that the few Falun Gong practitioners who were clarifying the truth here were all college graduates in the 1980s. They have successful careers and their children are all studying abroad. Some of us are entrepreneurs, some are teachers in colleges and universities, some are state employees, some are accountants, and I am a former teacher. It was because I learned Falun Dafa and understood the principles of being a human being.
Master Li taught us,
“As a practitioner, the first thing you should be able to do is to not fight back when you are beaten or sworn at—you must be tolerant.” (Lecture Nine, Zhuan Falun)
When I said this, the young man standing in front of me withdrew his middle finger, pressed his hands together, and said to me, “I'm sorry. I am wrong. I love Falun Gong.” He walked back into the crowd. Many people saw his actions and heard what he said, and everyone applauded him.
I said, “You students and young people are all kind-hearted and thoughtful. You will be the talent of China in the future. However, you must be open-minded, break through the CCP's lies, and don't be misled. What the ancient Chinese left behind was 'benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and faith,' while the CCP talks about lies, evil, and violence.
“The CCP makes children who have just entered school wear red scarves, gets youth to join the Communist Youth League, and asks adults to join the Party. The CCP asks people to raise their fists to swear to fight for communism for the rest of their lives and sacrifice their lives for the Party. What a vicious act. People all know that they cannot make a vow easily. That's why we want everyone to quickly quit the Party to keep safe.”
I then changed the topic and said that I still had to answer the question raised by the young man., “There is a saying 'The kindness of a drop of water should be repaid by the spring.' I once had a serious car accident. After the rescue and treatment, I had many sequelae. I also had severe insomnia and other illnesses. After practicing Falun Dafa, I became free from diseases without taking a single pill. It was Master Li (Dafa’s founder) who saved my life.
“How much money did Master give me? Let me tell you that Master has given me a priceless treasure – Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. This cannot be bought with any amount of money, and it is unmatched by anything.”
Someone said: “Wow! It's amazing! Falun Gong is amazing!” Another said: “Falun Gong is really amazing!”
After my truth clarification, about 30 students in this group agreed to quit their memberships in the CCP organizations. Before boarding the bus, a female student hurried over to me and said, “We didn't come here in vain today. I understood a lot of things. I'm glad that Falun Gong has 'brainwashed' me. I know how to be a good person now.”
I said, “It's not brainwashing but removes your bad thoughts from the CCP's lies and propaganda, purifies your heart and lets you be an upright Chinese.” She hugged me happily and said, “Thank you. I love Falun Gong.”
All of the people boarded the bus one after another. A woman walked up to me, put a note into my hand, turned around, and got into the bus without saying a word. When the bus door closed, everyone on the bus waved to me and some said loudly: “Falun Dafa is good!” A loud voice also said: “Falun Gong, we really love you!” The bus drove away. I wept and waved my hand to bless them: “I wish you'll be safe.”
I opened the note in my hand, and it stated: “We three teachers agree to quit the CCP with our nicknames. Thank you Falun Gong.” There were three names written on it.
People Appreciate Falun Gong
During my truth clarification, I met several young people who agreed to quit the CCP. They also asked me: “How can we keep in touch? I want to know more about Falun Gong, because after listening to your explanation, I seem to have opened my mind, which had been depressed for a long time. I understand the profound meaning of Falun Gong. It turns out that Falun Gong is a good practice. How can I get your help?”
I told the young man: “I am very glad that you have a good understanding of Falun Gong. You know the CCP's lies to slander Falun Gong and about the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. This is the sublimation of your thoughts. This software to get around the CCP's information censorship is for you, so you can learn about Falun Gong more after you go back. I recommend you read the book Zhuan Falun; you will know how to be a good person.” The other party replied repeatedly: “Great! Thank you!” I handed him the software.
I have also met many people who already understood the truth, including scholars, professors, civil servants, students, etc. They thanked and praised Falun Gong in various ways. To sum it up, each of them said similar things: “Falun Gong is amazing. We not only admire Falun Gong, but also love Falun Gong from the bottom of our hearts.”
I once talked with a Chinese scholar. After he understood my talking points, he said excitedly: “I have published many books and written many articles to praise the regime. If you use your own point of view to write truthfully, you will get a warning or get arrested, so I stopped writing a long time ago. It is very touching to hear the truth from you. Falun Gong is the pride of the Chinese people. It is the blessing of our motherland. I dare say that Falun Gong is unprecedented and great!”
