Over 1,300 Falun Dafa practitioners attended. Twenty-one practitioners spoke about their understandings of what practitioners should do at this critical moment in history, how to cultivate themselves and best continue their mission of saving people.
A lawyer with close to 30 years of experience watched the parade for quite a while and said, “This is not just a parade. It brings important messages to Canadians. They are teaching Canadians to judge what’s right and what’s wrong, telling people the lesson learned from the fact that communism is a mistake.”
On July 20, 1999 the CCP initiated a nation-wide persecution in China to eradicate Falun Dafa and practitioners. Every year practitioners hold events to call attention to the persecution, and call for it to end.
