(Minghui.org) Thirteen Falun Gong practitioners in Laizhou City, Shandong Province, were arrested or harassed between September 16 and 23, 2026, mostly by officers from the Shahe Town Police Station. Four other practitioners were harassed between July and early September 2026.

Six Practitioners Harassed and One Arrested on September 16
Four police officers went to Ms. Ren Yueqiao’s home at 6:30 a.m. on September 16 and stayed until 11 a.m. Several officers were seen walking outside Ms. Ren’s home again at 1 p.m.
Around 7 a.m. on September 16, the police climbed through the window and entered the second-floor home of Mr. Han Zhenping and his wife, Ms. Han Fang. They raided it and confiscated the couple’s Falun Gong books, a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, and a computer. Ms. Han was detained for five days.
That same day, the police made two trips to the home of Mr. Han Fangxi and his wife, Ms. Yang Shukun. The couple wasn’t home either time, and the police left.
The police also went to Ms. Fang Changhui’s home to harass her. She wasn’t home so they harassed Ms. Sun Songmei, who lived in the same village, and photographed her.
One Practitioner Harassed on September 17
Mr. Luan Shihai was summoned to the local government building on September 17. The police ordered him to sign statements to renounce Falun Gong and threatened to ransack his home and detain him if he didn’t comply.
Two Practitioners Harassed on September 20
The police harassed Mr. Guo Shenghui and Mr. Guo Honghao, who lived in the same village, on September 20. When they refused to open the door for them, the police harassed them over the phone.
Three Practitioners Harassed on September 23
Ms. Pan Ruiying, Ms. Li Yunying, and Ms. Chen Shanglian were harassed on the morning of September 23. The police photographed them against their will.
Four Practitioners Harassed Earlier
Six officers knocked on Ms. Li Caixiang’s door around July 20, 2026. When she refused to let them in, they scaled the fence and broke in. They searched her home and confiscated her Falun Gong book, two media players, and other items. She was taken to the Shahe Town Police Station where she was photographed. She was released later that day. The police searched her home again on September 7 and 8, and photographed it.
Mr. Song Hongjun was harassed on July 27, 2026, and had his photos taken.
Two officers harassed Ms. Pan Ruiying and her sister, Ms. Pan Ruihua, in August 2026, and attempted to force them to sign statements to renounce Falun Gong.
